Port Richey Police Chief Resigns, City Discusses Charter Revisions

Port Richey Police Chief Cyrus Robinson has resigned, with Capt. Michael Koch serving as interim chief while the City Council searches for a replacement. Robinson objected to the city’s decision to move its emergency dispatch operations to Pasco County. The City Council also discussed revising the city’s charter, with a workshop scheduled for Dec 17. They also presented a list of suggested projects for state appropriations, all related to water.
