A man from Zephyrhills, Florida was sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution for his role in the January 6th, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol. He was caught on camera assaulting Capitol police officers and smashing a window to enter the building. He was a member of the Proud Boys and had ties to Oregon. He marched to the Capitol with a group of Proud Boys before the riot began.
