The Royal Knights are the first from West Pasco County to make the state final four in girls’ basketball. One of the team’s key players, JP Ferguson, has been a pillar of support for her teammate, Amy, who was first diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago and recently had the cancer return. Despite the challenges, the team rallied around Amy and helped her through her treatments. Amy has been there for every one of JP’s games and has been a source of motivation for the team.
