A shootout between two individuals at a Chevron gas station in New Port Richey resulted in a bystander being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Both suspects were later arrested, with one charged with second-degree attempted homicide and the other with two counts of second-degree attempted homicide and shooting into an occupied structure.
