Tampa Bay Water is moving forward with an expansion project worth $181 million for its surface water treatment plant. The project, set to be completed in 2028, aims to increase the region’s drinking water capacity by 12.5 million gallons daily, addressing the expected growth in water demand by 2045. Veolia North America, the environmental services partner, expects to break ground in September.
