From Broadway musicals to comedy acts, Tampa’s performing arts scene offers a variety of shows this weekend. The Straz Center is hosting Ain’t Too Proud, a Tony-winning musical about The Temptations, and comedian Jim Gaffigan is returning to Tampa after his hit Hulu special, ‘The Skinny.’ The State Ballet Theatre of the Ukraine is presenting Swan Lake in two acts, while the Epiphany celebration in Tarpon Springs marks the 118th commemoration of Jesus Christ’s baptism. Tarpon Springs First Friday features food, vendors, music, and more. The Bernie Yoffredo Concert Series, Sphere’s Bubble Show, and Rock The Park are among other events in the Tampa Bay area this weekend.
