Biology teacher Elizabeth Skoglund, who initially planned to be a marine biologist, found her passion for teaching in Land O’Lakes, Florida. After suffering an ear injury, she changed her career path and has been teaching at Land O’Lakes High School since 2004. Skoglund, 51, is praised for her dedication and leadership, and was named Pasco County’s 2025 Teacher of the Year.
