Betty Skoglund, a science teacher at Land O’ Lakes High School, has been teaching for 20 years and is now a finalist for the Pasco County Teacher of the Year Award. She has always wanted to be a teacher, inspired by her own science teachers, and her passion for inspiring students remains strong. Outside the classroom, she mentors new teachers and leads various educational initiatives.
