The Angelus is a 45-year-old home in Hudson, Florida that provides a 24/7 home for people with cerebral palsy who are nonverbal and in total care. It has an indoor pool, pavilion and activity area, and animals like goats and a miniature horse. Residents typically stay there for a lifetime, and the Angelus relies heavily on donations from the community. It has received state funding but volunteers built the entire lodge.
