A 23-year-old woman, Megan Mileskiewicz, was arrested for animal cruelty and resisting an officer without violence after she allegedly stabbed her pit bull with a pocketknife. Witnesses reported the incident to the HCSO Emergency Operations Center, and deputies found Mileskiewicz hiding in the backyard. The dog’s injuries were not life-threatening but were actively bleeding.
