Zephyrhills has opened Hercules Park, the first new public park in the city in four decades. The park pays homage to Zephyrhills’ rich history, incorporating elements inspired by the Hercules Powder Co. The $7.6 million park features a nature-based playground, a multilevel splash pad, scenic trails, open pavilions, and restrooms. Refurbishing the land began in 2017, and the park was designed by Kimley-Horn and constructed by Wharton-Smith.
