Curtis Logan, an Army veteran from Holiday, Florida, is reflecting on his survival of a devastating roadside bomb attack in Iraq during 2006. As the only survivor among three soldiers caught in the explosion, Logan suffered severe injuries including broken bones and loss of body parts. He has undergone forty-four surgeries throughout his life yet maintains a positive outlook on his journey. The community supported him through Rebuilding Together Greater Florida when storm damage affected his home during recovery. Today Logan coaches youth sports and competes in disc golf while raising four children with gratitude for his survival and blessings.
