Dade City Woman Club Celebrates Centennial Anniversary With Historic Building Grant

The Dade City Woman’s Club recently celebrated the 100th anniversary of its historic clubhouse, which has served as a community cornerstone since 1925. The organization, founded in 1909, continues its mission to do good in the community through various initiatives over the decades. Recent recognition includes a $300,000 state grant from Florida Senator Wilton Simpson to help modernize and preserve the building. The clubhouse has hosted numerous events including weddings, retirement parties, and school dances throughout its century of existence. Club members emphasize the importance of strong women leading community efforts and making a difference beyond themselves. The historic building remains listed on the National Register of Historic Places and continues to be available for community events.
