Daniel Avena, 39, was fatally struck by a vehicle along Boyette Road in Wesley Chapel and left on the side of the road for 12 hours before being discovered. Family members are demanding safer conditions, including sidewalks and better lighting, and a $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the driver’s arrest.
