A 47-year-old man named Cody Brinsfield was arrested in Hudson, FL on charges of fraudulent use of a credit card, grand theft, and making a false report to law enforcement. The victim had given him permission to use the credit card to purchase cigarettes and a drink, but not to withdraw cash. Surveillance footage from a gas station and further evidence disproved Brinsfield’s claim of being robbed.
