Two teenagers were seriously injured in a collision on Tuesday evening after a vehicle turned into their path and slammed into them, according to troopers. A Mercedes sedan traveling westbound on County Line Road collided with a BMW sedan at the intersection of Firewheel Drive around 9:09 p.m. Both vehicles rotated southeast after impact, striking a road sign before hitting a brick wall. The driver of the BMW was a 16-year-old female from Zephyrhills with a 15-year-old male passenger from Wesley Chapel. The Mercedes was driven by a 20-year-old from Wesley Chapel who had a 21-year-old woman from Zephyrhills as his passenger. All four occupants suffered serious injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
