Internationally acclaimed guitarist Pavlo Simtikidis is hosting a free outdoor concert in his hometown of New Tampa to benefit The Inspire Foundation. The event, titled An Evening with Pavlo, will take place on October 23 at The Shops at Wiregrass and feature performances by violinist G Pinto and singer-songwriter Luke McMaster. All proceeds from a raffle for Pavlo’s signature guitar will go toward providing music lessons and educational opportunities for children with disabilities and autism. This local show is particularly meaningful to Pavlo, who has spent decades touring globally but now enjoys the simple pleasure of driving home after a performance rather than flying. The musician, who began playing guitar at age 10, believes that access to instruments helps build community among young people in ways nothing else can.
