The Hudson branch of Pasco County Libraries will close for a two-year renovation starting in November 2025, with a projected completion in late 2027. The extensive renovation includes a complete overhaul of the 35-year-old building, featuring modernized interiors, dedicated spaces for different age groups, and improved facilities like a recording studio and performance area, all while retaining beloved features like natural light and wood floors. The updated branch will reflect the coastal nature of Hudson with thematic designs, such as a beach mural and a nautical-themed children’s room.
