A 24-year-old Hudson man, Logan Richard Pineda, faces second-degree murder and leaving the scene of a crash charges after hitting and killing a 52-year-old Tampa woman on a bicycle. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Pineda struck the bicyclist on Parkwood Street around 9 p.m. Thursday, fled the scene, and later returned to identify himself. The victim was hospitalized and later died from her injuries. Pineda was arrested and taken to Pasco County Jail.
