Land O’ Lakes Gators Aim for Another State Softball Crown After Dominant Postseason Start

Land O’ Lakes’ softball program, led by 13th-year coach Mitch Wilkins, continues its winning tradition as the Gators finish 24-4 and begin a postseason run. Star two-way ace Taliah Murria dominated East Lake with a 15-strikeout, one-hit game while the team posted strong offensive numbers, with leaders Valora Brewington and Miyah Davis driving in over 20 RBIs each. The program’s flag-football squad also had a solid season, reaching the Class 3A region final after a close loss to nationally ranked Seminole Ridge. In track, Angeline Academy and Land O’ Lakes athletes posted notable finishes at state meets, and senior Chloe Fluker earned a college scholarship in flag football. Overall, the athletic department showcases depth across multiple sports, underscoring its status as a high-performing Pasco County institution.
