Yoandy Mora-Perez was found guilty in a jury trial for charges related to a February 2023 incident where a trooper was shot and another suspect killed during a pursuit. He was sentenced to two life sentences plus 15 years in prison. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles celebrated the justice served.
