The new emergency room was established less than two months after Orlando Health opened its Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, which is currently expanding from 102 to 300 beds by 2028. This development reflects a broader trend among major health systems like AdventHealth and HCA to keep pace with Pasco County’s rapid residential growth of over half a million residents since 1970.
