After years of debate, the Pasco County School Board has finally approved the sale of the historic Schwettman Education Center to the city of New Port Richey for $1.75 million. The sale includes a 25-year restrictive covenant that prevents the property from being converted to multi-family housing and a 10-year profit sharing measure.
