Pasco County Nonprofit Rebuilds After Hurricane Damage

A Pasco County charity that provides clothing for local children to boost their self-confidence was devastated by Hurricane Helene. After $200,000 worth of inventory was lost, including hundreds of formal dresses, the nonprofit, Marjorie’s Hope, has reopened in a new location. The new boutique-style Marjorie’s Closet offers donated clothes to children in need, who are referred by schools or social workers. The organization’s comeback was supported by Leadership Pasco, which helped raise funds for the new space and inventory.
