Paso County launched incentives for teachers at designated opportunity schools to help children succeed and attract strong teachers, especially at low-performing schools. Teachers with effective or highly effective ratings can receive up to $15,000, and new teachers can earn up to $4,500. The program recognizes teachers’ hard work and dedication.
