Pasco County school officials approved converting and consolidating schools, merging Pasco Elementary and Middle Schools into a K-8 campus starting in 2026-27. Lacoochee Elementary will transition to K-8 by 2027-28, adding grades incrementally. The decision follows previous proposals from 2024 and includes a school choice application process for students not wishing to attend their zoned schools.
