Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an accidental shooting in the Grand Oaks Subdivision in Wesley Chapel. An adult male was cleaning a firearm on Thursday, when it discharged. The bullet struck a countertop, ricocheted, and then struck both the male and an adult woman. Both parties were taken to a hospital and appear to have non-life threatening injuries. There is no threat to the public and all parties involved are accounted for.
