Pasco County Fire Rescue responded to an emergency call in the Lexington Oaks neighborhood of Wesley Chapel, Florida. The crew discovered an owl that had become trapped at the base of a tree during Monday night operations. A firefighter carefully lifted the bird and allowed it to slip through a gap before placing it safely on the ground. The owl quickly took flight after being freed without any apparent injuries. Firefighters expressed their satisfaction with successfully rescuing the feathered friend, noting that the experience brought them smiles. The animal was released unharmed and presumably returned to its natural habitat.
