The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office reported that the accident happened just before 8:20 p.m. in the 17800 block of Cloudless Bliss Drive. The child was riding a Razor Crazy Cart Shuffle seated scooter when he was struck by a Tesla Model 3 driven by a forty-five-year-old man from Riverview. Despite being transported via helicopter to the hospital, the boy succumbed to his injuries. Authorities stated that the driver was not using autopilot mode and failed to observe the hazard in time.
