The incident started around 8:11 p.m. when an attempted residential burglary escalated into a physical confrontation. During this altercation, a suspect shot an adult man, and another gunshot was fired when a second man intervened to engage the suspect. The wounded individual was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition while the second man sustained no injuries. After initially fleeing the scene, all parties involved have been located by authorities who confirmed there is currently no threat to public safety. Officials believe this isolated incident involved individuals who knew each other and that the investigation remains ongoing with no further details released at this time.
