Skydiving Helps Man Reverse Heart Failure Diagnosis At Zephyrhills

On World Skydiving Day, Joe Rego watched participants at Zephyrhills Skydive City enjoy the thrill of skydiving despite being unable to join due to a hamstring injury. Although Rego could not participate in the event, he expressed deep admiration for the sport and its transformative power. Less than a year prior, he had been diagnosed with chronic heart failure but turned to skydiving as a new pursuit. Through the intense physical demands of learning to skydive, Rego lost ninety pounds and successfully reversed his heart condition. The experience provided him a positive focus and motivation to overcome negativity in his life. He credits skydiving with saving his life and fundamentally changing his outlook on health and wellness. Rego now aims to share this powerful message about how the sport can transform lives with other enthusiasts.
