Students from Angeline Academy of Innovation participated in a live advisory court hearing at the West Pasco Judicial Center, observing defendants’ charges and bond amounts as part of their legal aspects of business class. The experience, led by teacher Chad Mallo, provided insight into how the justice system impacts communities. Students engaged in a Q&A with Judge Kimberly Sharpe Byrd and toured courthouse facilities with Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies. Representatives from the Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller’s office also explained their role in supporting county operations.
