Angeline Academy of Innovation celebrated the grand opening of Sweets at Angeline, a student-run cafe that has been in development for over three years. The venture was initiated by student Rylee Kincaid as an entrepreneurship competition project and has evolved into a fully operational business under teacher Chad Mallo’s guidance. Students have taken on various roles including management, accounting, marketing, and food service operations throughout the development process. After overcoming several setbacks including delays with beverage equipment installation, the cafe finally opened its doors last week. The establishment serves refreshing drinks and snacks to students and faculty while providing real-world business experience through hands-on learning.
