A ten-year-old boy from Hudson suffered serious injuries after being struck by two vehicles while attempting to cross State Road 52. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon around noon near Victory Drive when the child exited a Circle K gas station on a bicycle. A Kia Niro driven by a forty-five-year-old woman first hit the bicyclist, propelling him into the adjacent lane where he was then struck by a Ford F-350 driven by a thirty-five-year-old man from Riverview. Both drivers escaped injury and were not reported hurt in the collision. The child was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment while authorities continue their investigation into this tragic accident.
