Chad Cooper, a financial services professional and entrepreneur, has launched the Wesley Chapel Black Chamber of Commerce to support and promote Black- and minority-owned businesses in Wesley Chapel and Pasco County. The new chamber aims to provide resources, networking opportunities, and advocacy to help bridge the gap in economic development for minority entrepreneurs. Cooper, who previously founded a successful Black chamber in New Mexico, envisions a more inclusive and thriving business community. The chamber plans to organize events, offer business support services, and collaborate with local chambers and economic development councils to foster growth and inclusivity for minority-owned businesses.
