A 47-year-old utilities mechanic, Gary Greger, died in an on-the-job accident at a local lift station. His co-worker, Emanuel Garcia, survived and attempted to save him. The deceased’s daughter expressed grief over missing future milestones with her father and questioned the cause of his death. The city praised the co-worker and first responders for their efforts to save Greger.
