Participants receive two daily meals and have access to laptops with internet for homework completion. The program costs $75 per week but offers scholarships to ensure accessibility for all families. This marks the organization’s first Boys & Girls Club location in Hernando County, distinct from the previously closed facility. Community officials and staff expressed optimism about the program’s potential to prevent summer learning loss and foster youth development through various educational and recreational opportunities.
