A deputy-involved shooting in Land O Lakes, Florida resulted in the death of 61-year-old Enoch Harville following a domestic violence incident. The Pasco Sheriff’s Office received a call around 11 p.m. reporting a domestic violence situation involving a firearm in the Causeway Boulevard area. When deputies arrived, they found Harville outside with injuries before entering the home to speak with him inside a back room. According to officials, Harville armed himself with a shotgun and ignored commands from deputies to drop the weapon. The two deputies on scene fired their weapons, striking Harville who was pronounced dead at the scene. No deputies or civilians were injured during the incident. Sheriff Chris Nocco praised the bravery of the deputies involved and noted that body camera footage showed a difficult tactical situation inside a narrow home layout.
