A 63-year-old woman crashed her vehicle into the front of a Social Security Administration building in New Port Richey on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. when the driver attempted to turn into a parking space on Little Road. State troopers reported that she accidentally accelerated instead of braking, leading to the collision with the structure. Fortunately, the driver was not injured in the accident. However, a 43-year-old passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding this accidental crash at the government facility.
