Florida Highway Patrol reports an 18-year-old died on Thursday morning when a Nissan Xterra overturned in Hudson. The vehicle, driven by an 18-year-old Hudson man, was traveling northbound along Little Road around 2:22 a.m. The driver lost control south of Fred Street, causing the vehicle to enter the median and flip multiple times before ejecting the driver. The 18-year-old fatality occurred at the crash scene according to official reports. Two male passengers also traveling in the vehicle suffered minor injuries. The injured passengers, aged 17 and 18 from Hudson, were not considered at fault in the accident. Law enforcement officials are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deadliest traffic incident.
