A woman who owns a fencing business in New Port Richey has been arrested for grand theft after investigators discovered she did not complete work funded by a city grant. The grant of nearly four thousand dollars was awarded to her company, Your Fencing Pros LLC, to help a low-income homeowner pay for necessary fence installation. Despite receiving full payment from the city and being selected through a competitive bid process, no construction began or finished by mid-January 2026. Police reports indicate that repeated attempts to reach the company resulted in ongoing delays and unfulfilled explanations regarding the project status. The owner, Kayle Colvin, was taken into custody on May 22nd and now faces additional charges related to violating her probation terms. Local authorities are encouraging anyone who may have experienced similar fraud to report their case directly to the New Port Richey Police Department for further investigation.
