Veterans, athletes, first responders, and supporters gathered together for Hockey Heals 22 at AdventHealth Center Ice in Wesley Chapel from June 13 to June 14. The event featured a remarkable 22 hours of continuous hockey play dedicated to ending veteran suicide. Organized by the Lightning Warriors Hockey program, this initiative brought together various community members to support an important cause. A total of 17 games were played during the event to raise awareness for veteran suicide prevention efforts. This gathering highlighted the power of sports and community in addressing critical mental health issues affecting veterans.
