A man was left in critical condition after being shot during an attempted residential burglary in the Castleberry Court area of Hudson, Florida. The incident occurred shortly before 8:15 p.m. when deputies from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. A physical altercation ensued between the victim and a suspect, resulting in multiple gunshots being fired. Another man confronted the shooter and was also shot but fortunately did not sustain any injuries. The suspect managed to escape before law enforcement arrived and is still at large as of now. Investigators believe this case involves known parties rather than a random crime. Authorities have determined there is currently no public safety threat associated with this incident.
