Holiday Florida Residents Evacuated After Early Morning House Fire

Several homes in Holiday Florida were evacuated early Tuesday morning after a house fire broke out on Peterborough Street. Pasco County Fire Rescue responded quickly to the scene where heavy flames and smoke were visible from the residence. Fortunately all occupants had already escaped before firefighters arrived at the location. Neighboring homes were temporarily evacuated as a precautionary measure while crews worked to control the blaze. The Red Cross was contacted to provide assistance to affected residents after the incident. Fire investigators determined that the fire likely started in the rear enclosed porch of the home though no injuries were reported.
