Kumquat Festival Postponed to March 8 in Dade City

The Greater East Pasco Chamber announced on January 30 that the 29th annual Kumquat Festival, originally scheduled for January 31 in downtown Dade City, has been postponed to Sunday, March 8. The decision follows concerns over strong winds and unsafe weather conditions. The free event, which attracts over 40,000 attendees annually, features arts & crafts vendors, kumquat treats, and live entertainment. Organizers emphasized the safety of participants and staff as the primary factor in the rescheduling. The festival remains a key community attraction, blending local culture with seasonal festivities.
