Lakeland Man Arrested Following High-Speed Pursuit Through Pasco and Polk County Construction Zones

A Lakeland resident, Larry David Morrow Jr., was arrested after leading Florida Highway Patrol troopers on a high-speed motorcycle chase through active construction zones in Pasco and Polk counties. The pursuit, which reached speeds of up to 120 mph, involved reckless maneuvers around construction workers and obstacles. Troopers attempted to block the motorcycle’s right turn on Rockridge Road, resulting in Morrow falling off the bike. During the arrest, authorities found less than 20 grams of marijuana in his possession, alongside a motorcycle with a counterfeit Florida license plate and altered validation sticker. The Yamaha motorcycle and counterfeit tag were placed into evidence, and Morrow was transported for medical clearance before being booked into Pasco County Jail.
