Land O’ Lakes High School biology teacher Elizabeth Skoglund, who originally planned to be a marine biologist, was announced as Pasco County’s 2025 teacher of the year. Skoglund, who has taught at the school since 2004, was thrilled yet surprised to receive the honor. She leads teacher planning teams, mentors new teachers, and sponsors student service clubs.
