A 58-year-old driver from Land O Lakes sustained fatal injuries following a serious multi-vehicle collision on Ehren Cutoff early Sunday morning. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 6:50 a.m. just north of Belinda Drive when the driver crossed the center line while traveling southbound. The GMC Savana collided nearly head-on with two northbound vehicles in succession, causing the truck to rotate and overturn after impact. Emergency responders found the 58-year-old driver deceased at the scene. Two other drivers survived with minor injuries including an 80-year-old man from Ontario and a 61-year-old man from Texas. The troopers are continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to this tragic accident.
