A 24-year-old man from Tampa died after his Kawasaki motorcycle collided with a northbound Hyundai van at a Pasco County intersection on April 21. The accident occurred around 9:20 p.m. on County Line Road when the van, driven by a 41-year-old Land O’ Lakes resident, turned left into the motorist’s path. Both drivers were taken to a hospital, but the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol reported the crash and noted the motorcyclist was traveling at high speed. The victim’s name has not been released. The van driver sustained injuries but survived.
