A tragic motorcycle accident occurred in Pasco County, Florida, during the early hours of Saturday morning. The incident took place at the intersection of Trouble Creek Road and Whitetail Lane around 2:50 AM. According to investigators, a Kia Sorento was positioned at a stop sign when it moved across a median break into the lane of oncoming traffic. This maneuver put the vehicle directly in the path of a westbound Suzuki motorcycle being operated by a thirty year old male. The impact resulted in severe injuries for the motorcyclist who was subsequently transported to a nearby medical facility. Tragically the patient succumbed to his injuries after arriving at the hospital. The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this fatal crash.
